The price of an Uber/Lyft can be expensive from LAX to Simi Valley. One way to cut the cost is to take the flyaway shuttle to Van Nuys Airport, and then take an Uber/Lyft. Tickets can be purchased after getting off in Van Nuys, for more information see the website. It picks up "every 20 minutes" at all terminals (if arriving when it is busy, it's easier to get on it at lower numbered terminals).
